                                            Chow chow/Sorakkai Puli Kolambu

Clean and cut the Chayote/Bottle gourd in to small pieces.

Take a fresh pan pour some oil and heat it up.once the oil is heated ,add sliced onions  and mustard seed to it and fry it .

then, Add Chayote/Bottle gourd to the mixture and fry it well for few seconds.

After ,add some water to the mixture prepared.

Now,Add grinded mixture of coconut nuts and ani seed to the above prepared mixture  and spread it well.

Add sliced tomatoes.

Add 1 or 2 teaspoon of curry masala to make the mixture perfect curry and add 1/2 teaspoon of salt to it .

allow it to boil well till the curry gets reddish brown colour.


Your tastier Chow chow/Sorakkai Puli Kolambu is ready.


Needed items : Tomatoes- 1 or 2 , Tamarind -20g,Coconut nuts-1 pieces,Chayote/Bottle gourd-150g,onion-100g ,Mustard seed -1/2 teaspoon.
